Sending International Payments

Arc partners with Wise to process international payments. When you initiate an international wire through Arc, you'll be directed to a dedicated Wise landing page.

Getting Started with Wise

New to Wise? If you’ve never sent an international wire through Arc or Wise, enter your email on the Wise landing page to create an account.

Already have a Wise account? If you’ve previously sent an international wire via Arc or Wise, simply log in to proceed with your payment. You can reset your password if you need assistance with your Wise log in credentials.

Your company uses Wise, but you never have?

Contact your company’s Wise account admin and request to be added. Once added, you’ll need to accept the invitation and complete KYC verification before submitting payments.

Connecting Your Arc Account to Wise

  1. Log in to your Wise account.

  2. Click on your Profile in the top corner.

  3. Select Payment Methods > Connected Bank Accounts.

  4. Click Connect Your Bank Account.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions:

    • Select United States as your region.

    • Choose Arc as your bank.

    • Log in through Plaid to securely connect your account.

How to Send Money with Wise

  1. Go to "Send"
    From the Home screen, select Send.

  2. Choose or Add a Recipient

    • Search for an existing recipient or click Add a Recipient.

    • Select the recipient’s currency.

    • Add their @Wisetag, email, phone number, or bank details.

  3. Enter the Transfer Amount

    • Specify how much you want to send or how much your recipient should receive.

    • Select the desired currency.

    • To schedule the transfer, click the calendar icon next to Continue.

  4. Choose Your Payment Method

    • Review the confirmation screen.

    • Select your preferred payment method (fees and delivery times vary).

  5. Review & Confirm

    • Double-check all details to avoid delays.

    • Click Continue and then Send.

  6. Confirmation

    • Wise will notify you via email or app when the transfer is processed and sent.

    • Track your payments under the Transactions tab.

Costs & Fees

  • Opening a Wise Account: Free

  • FX transfers: FX fee starts at 0.33% (varies by currency - see pricing page)

  • USD transfers: typically under $20 each, depending on destination

Receiving International Payments

Yes, you can receive international wire transfers through Wise.

  1. Upgrade Your Wise Account:

    • Pay a one-time fee of $31 USD to enable receiving capabilities.

  2. Get Your Account Details:

    • Share these details with senders to receive international payments.

  • Receiving Fees: Refer to Wise’s receiving fees page for detailed information.

Tracking Your Transfer

Stay updated on your transfer status with real-time tracking:

  1. Log in to your Wise account.

  2. Go to Home to view your transaction history.

  3. Select the transfer to track its progress.

  4. View updates on:

    • When Wise receives your funds.

    • Processing times.

    • Estimated delivery dates.

Note: Transfers initiated on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Sending a Balance from Wise to Your Arc Account

To send a balance from Wise to your Arc account:

  1. Log in to Wise.

  2. Select the balance you want to send from.

  3. Click Send.

  4. Enter the amount you want to send.

  5. Select Myself as the recipient.

  6. Enter the bank details of your Arc account.

  7. Review the transfer details.

  8. Click Confirm and Send.
