Auto-Sweep lets you set rules that automatically move a set percentage of every incoming payment from one of your Arc accounts into another account you own — for example, sweeping 50% of every incoming payment from your Operating account into your Wallet account. Because the destination is always another Arc account your company owns, your money always stays within your own accounts.
Who can use Auto-Sweep
Admins (users with the cash management automations permission) can add, edit, and delete Auto-Sweep rules. Other team members can view the Automations tab, existing rules, and sweep activity, but can't make changes.
Set up an Auto-Sweep rule
Log in to your Arc dashboard and go to the account you want to sweep money from.
Open the “Automations” tab.
Click “Add rule.”
Choose a destination account — any other Arc operating account your company owns. Accounts that already have a rule pointing to them won't appear in the list, since each account can only receive one rule at a time.
Enter the percentage of each incoming payment you'd like to move. You'll see a live preview of how the rule applies to a sample deposit, plus how much of the account is still available for other rules.
Review the consent line and confirm to create the rule.
Your new rule will appear in the Automations tab alongside any existing auto-transfer rules.
Edit or delete a rule
Go to the “Automations” tab on the account with the rule.
Select the rule and choose “Edit” to change its percentage, or “Delete rule” to remove it.
Confirm the change.
A rule's destination account can't be changed once it's created — if you need to sweep to a different account, delete the rule and add a new one. Edits and deletions only apply to future payments; anything already swept isn't affected.
What triggers a sweep
A sweep only runs on incoming external credits (ACH or wire) landing in the source account.
Transfers between your own Arc accounts, incoming transfers you initiate yourself, card-acquiring payouts, and any debits never trigger a sweep.
If an account has more than one rule, each incoming payment is split across all of them at once — the amounts swept out plus the amount left behind always add up to exactly the payment received.
A rule only applies to payments that post after it's created; it has no effect on past activity.
Track your sweep activity
Every completed sweep shows up in the Activity table on both accounts involved — as an outgoing sweep on the sending account, and an incoming sweep on the receiving account — alongside the account's other automation activity.
