Understanding Transfer Times Between Arc Accounts

At Arc, we prioritize making your fund transfers seamless and efficient. Below is an overview of the typical transfer times between different types of accounts within Arc:

1. Transfers Between Operating Accounts (Wallet & Business)

Transfers between your Wallet and Business accounts are nearly instant. These transfers are quick and straightforward, helping you manage your funds smoothly between your operational accounts.

2. Transfers Between Arc Operating Accounts and Treasury

When transferring funds between your Arc operating account (Wallet/Business) and your Treasury account, expect the process to take 1-2 business days.

Upon transferring funds into your Treasury account, they are automatically allocated to the Cash Sweep account, which is fully liquid. From there, you have the flexibility to invest in Money Markets or T-Bills. Funds must be settled in your Cash sweep to be available to move back to your Arc Operating accounts (Wallet/Business).

3. Money Market and T-Bill Investments

  • Money Markets: Funds invested in Money Markets, take 1 business day* to liquidate and become available in the morning

  • Mutual Funds: Funds invested in Mutual Funds, take 1 business day* to liquidate and become available at the end of the day

  • T-Bills: Selling T-Bills takes 2 business days*. There are no penalties for selling T-Bills before maturity date.

*Market hours are from 9 AM to 4 PM EST. If you place a sell order after these hours, it will be processed the next business morning.

By understanding these timelines, you can better manage your cash flow and make informed decisions about your investments. If you need any further assistance or clarification, feel free to reach out to the Arc support team!
