Change the deposit bank account for QuickBooks Online Payments

Update standard deposit account

Link a bank account for standard funding events (non-instant deposit). Just add your bank account and routing number.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks mobile app, QuickBooks Money or GoPayment in a web browser.

  2. Go to Settings

    Settings gear icon.

    and then select Account and settings.

  3. Select the Payments tab. In the Deposits section next to Standard Deposits, select Change bank.

  4. Select Add new bank account.

  5. Enter the account and routing number of the bank account you want to change to and then select Save.

  6. Find the new bank account from the list and select Verify.

  7. Enter the two small amounts we have deposited to the new bank account.

  8. Review the bank account info and complete your request.

Update instant deposit account

Link a debit card or eligible bank account for instant deposits. If you have a QuickBooks Checking account, your debit card is already linked.

  1. Select Settings βš™ and then Account and settings.

  2. Select Payments and go to Deposit accounts.

  3. Select Change to edit your instant deposit info.
    Note: If you switch from your personal debit card to your QuickBooks Checking debit card, select the 0% fee option.

  4. Select Save and then Done.
